Step Up for Kids in Colorado - October 11
On Tuesday, October 11 registered voters across Colorado will begin to receive their mail-in ballots for the November 1 election. The election will be all mail-in ballots this year. We will be given an opportunity to step up for our kids, our grandkids, and our community.
Next month, Every Child Matters supporters are organizing step up for kids events across America to raise awareness among voters and political candidates regarding the issues American children face, among them access to early care and learning and after-school programs, poverty, child abuse and neglect and health care. Colorado's ballot will give voters the opportunity to truly step up for kids and stop Colorado's irresponsible and short-sighted cuts to our schools.
Join Every Child Matters-Colorado, Great Futures Colorado Coalition, Sen. Rollie Heath and concerned parents on October 11 on the West steps of the State Capitol Building at the Step Up for Kids Rally at 11:00 am to ask Colorado to VOTE YES ON PROP 103!
We need YOU! Every Child Matters - Colorado is looking for parents, teachers, directors, advocates, college students, teenagers, principals, counselors, professionals, and concerned members of our community to join the Colorado campaign to ensure every child matters in Colorado. Will you join us? Bring a friend? Speak out in support of your child's future? Speak for the thousands of abused and neglected children in Colorado who have no one to speak for them?
Register today to step up for kids in 2011 and receive your FREE t-shirt at the rally!
