How do you feel about toxic chemicals like BPA in baby products?

I feel that the word "toxic" should mean that it is NOT in anyone's food products or packaging, baby products or adult. It is our responsibility to stop the cycle of chemical dosing and medication fix that america is involved in. We create health problems, then prescribe a pill for the resulting health complications. Focus on the symptom and the actual cause will never be addressed.

I think that the fact that our government allows us to ingest a "safe" amount of this toxic chemical to be disgusting and disgraceful. We should not place a desire for financial gain above the health and welfare of our children.

It shouldn't be in any products that we are exposed to constantly.

Why would I want my child to use something toxic? They are just beginning their lives and already they are being poisoned. What's the logic there? The people designing and/or producing these items must not have children or do not care about the well-being of their own.

I think it is horrible. I think it needs to banned just like lead and other harmful things have been banned in baby items and kids toys.

Through a trial and error to solve my newborn granddaughter's acid reflux (breast milk in a BPA-FREE plastic bottle), we discovered the solution was glass bottes! Even though they plastic bottles were BPA-Free, clearly there is still some chemical leaching, even when the bottle is not heated! We've since shared our story with other mothers and they, too, are discovering the same results as us. It is insane that we risk our children's health like this!! If you have experienced this same dilemma, please go to our website http://bottleswottles.com/babyacidreflux.html and share your story with us. We are on a mission to educate parents of the dangers of plastic, even when it's BPA-Free.

I think it's no different than China putting melamine in baby formula. No one seems to take any responsibility for the safety of the products they make. It's time to tax these irresponsible companies and use the money generated for US healthcare initiatives.

I think we should be fair to our environment and our children and keep only organic ingredients in our baby products.

In this country we have the resources to make less hazardous materials, especially for children. There is no excuse for not removing this chemical from any product that could cause harm to humans, especially babies.

Anything that could be potentially harmful should be kept away from people, especially our children. This chemical obviously has not been properly tested and should be removed immediately from all products.

Even if some aren't convinced about the dangers of BPA, when it comes to our children wouldn't we rather be safe than sorry.

It is totally unacceptable that the governement is blinded by large corp and their unethical of use of toxic materials in products that we use. Our lives and children's lives are at risk, and they do not even disclose problems.
