VFP's next electronic town hall meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 30, 2012.  The meeting will be chaired by Leah Bolger, Mike Reid and Nate Goldshlag.

Scott Camil, president of VFP Chapter 14 in Gainesville, FL op-ed appears on CNN website entitled, "Why are we still in 'Vietghanistan?"

VFP Chapter 92 in Seattle, WA will be passing out Armed Forces Day cards on Armed Forces Day, May 19@ the Armed Forces Festival.  The cards are available to download for your chapters use in .doc or .pdf format.  Email Michelle Kinnucan for more information.

VFP National Convention Updates

Dates:  August 8-12, 2012

Where:  Marriott/Biscayne Bay - Miami, FL

A block of rooms have been reserved for Veterans For Peace members.  Double rooms are $112 including tax.  Contact the hotel directly (1-800-228-9290/  1-800-295-1421) or make reservations online.  If making reservations by phone, please be sure to mention that you are registering for the VFP National Convention. 

This year's theme is "Liberating the Americas: Lessons from Latin America and the Caribbean"
