Gene Marx Joins ExComm

The Board of Directors met last week in Nashville, TN.  Board member, Gene Marx was appointed Secretary, replacing Hart Viges who had resigned the position.   Congratulations Gene on your new assignment! 


New Chapters Seeking Members 

Amarillo, TX

If you are a veteran who lives in the Amarillo, TX area or you know vets who live in or near Amarillo, please inform him/her that a new chapter is being formed.   Contact Jeanette.

Knoxville, TN

Gerald Bone is spearheading the formation of a new VFP chapter in Knoxville, TN.  Founding members must be current in dues and have verified their military service.  Contact Gerald or Jeanette.

Associate Members are eligible to join a chapter once it receives its charter. So if interested in becoming an associate member contact Jeanette.


Need a Copy of Your DD214?

DD214's are needed to verify your military experience to become a founding member of a chapter.  A free copy is available at National Archives.

VFP Chapter Happenings

On April 2nd, VFP Chapter 95 along with  IVAW's Amherst Chapter sponsored Call to Action:  Operation Recovery to educate on reaching out to returning soldiers.  Daniel Ritchie of Chapter 95 was so gracious to recap the event for us.
