Yellowstone Ecosystem Action Alert

Tell Idaho That Connectivity
MUST Be Considered
in Hunting Regulations

Dear Supporter,

Gray wolves have made a remarkable comeback in Idaho since their reintroduction, restoring balance to wild country in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and central Idaho. However, the wolves that roam within Idaho's portion of Greater Yellowstone have yet to consistently connect with the central Idaho populations.

To ensure the long-term viability of wolf populations across the Northern Rockies, this connectivity is absolutely necessary. Wolf advocates must speak up now to ensure Idaho's hunt is structured in a way that promotes population connectivity. It is especially crucial that no hunting in the upper Snake River region be allowed until wolf numbers are higher in this district.

Help make sure Idaho prioritizes wolf conservation by telling Idaho Fish & Game managers your views on the proposed wolf-hunting season. Idaho Fish & Game is taking comments on its website until May 16.
