Does Bozeman's Watershed Really Need Logging?
Dear Supporter,

| Upper Bozeman Creek. many areas in this photo would be logged as part of this project. Tell the Forest Service to Do It Right! |

Bozeman Creek and Hyalite are two of Bozeman's most popular recreation areas. These drainages provide Bozeman residents and visitors a place to ski, hike, bike, ice climb and camp, just a few miles out the backdoor. These drainages also provide Bozeman residents with drinking water.
When the Gallatin National Forest came out with the Bozeman Municipal Watershed Project, we looked at the proposal with keen interest and with this question in mind: could the Forest Service protect Bozeman's drinking water supply and provide access to our favorite backyard places?
As proposed, the project put forth by the Forest Service misses the mark. But with your help and a few improvements, we are confident the Bozeman Municipal Watershed Project can be a success.
Take action today.
