Ruckus is very proud to invite you to come play with us at the Localize This! Action Camp, July 13-18, 2009, on Vashon Island in Washington, co-hosted by Backbone Campaign and Mosquito Fleet.
This camp is THE opportunity for folks engaging in Organizing, Agitating and Action in their communities to come together and share strategies that win! Get trained in Land and Water-based strategies for action: non-violence, action climbing, media and messaging, arts for social change and more!
The setting is stunning Vashon Island, just off the coast of Seattle, where local and indigenous communities are fighting to protect Puget Sound, home to orcas and other life. Learn, compare and try the tactics out!
This is an open call -which means you can be at any skill level to attend!
