Report-back from Rio+20
 With over 50,000 accredited participants registered, Rio+20 was the largest gathering in the history of the UN. And yet, despite the participation of heads of state officials, experts, media, corporate titans and tens of thousands of civil society representatives, the United Nations Rio+20 Earth Summit was a tragic, if predictable, failure.

Rights of Nature Presentation in San Rafael, CA

Organic, Local Veggies Come To Global Exchange!
Thanks to Jamie Lee, an organic farmer from Mendocino County that the Community Rights Program has been working with, Global Exchange has received a generous 22-week share of vegetable donations for all staff and interns to enjoy this summer!

Colorado citizens propose a statewide bill of rights
In partnership with the Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund (CELDF) Colorado citizens have joined Pennsylvania and New Hampshire in moving toward a statewide bill of rights. Stay tuned for more information and visit CELDF's website.
