Say No to Fracking in our Communities!
Who decides if fracking happens where you live - Communities of Corporations? From flaming kitchen sinks to exploding gas wells, increased earthquakes and toxic waste dumping, hydraulic fracturing, or “fracking” is dirty energy with 600 unknown toxic chemicals injected under our aquifers each time a well is fracked. Under our current structure of law, communities are denied their fundamental right to say no to fracking where they live. We are working to change that by helping communities pass new laws that assert their rights and subordinate drilling companies (and state agencies) to local, democratic rule.
Join the growing number of people who believe there is no such thing as “safe fracking” and support California communities asserting their right to ban fracking, and protect our groundwater against contamination and corporate exploitation.
