Promote Your Event using The Peace Alliance's Distributed Event Tool!
Please do NOT use this form for Walks for Peace events - enter those through the Walks for Peace form.
Create your own Event Announcements using our Distributed Events Tool. Create your event, invite friends and family to attend via the "Tell A Friend" tool and search for events by zip code. You will be able to manage them all through the Events tab on your Profile Page.
Privacy and Searches: The program creates a page listing all upcoming events and a page that allows supporters to search by zip code. Making your event public allows it to show up in those searches. If you don't want your event public, you can still use the "Tell A Friend" tool to tell people about your event and allow them to RSVP.
Please Read the following before creating your event:
1 - Events listed should relate to the purpose of The Peace Alliance and grassroots state campaigns for a U.S. Department of Peace.
2 - Please put your city and state in your Event Title - it makes it easier for folks to know what to select from this page listing all upcoming events. Good titles with usable information are better than cleaver ones.
Use the "Description" box to "market" your event and to clearly inform readers about the activity. Remember that those reading may not be as familiar with your group as those in your organization.
In the box for "Address and Directions" put the full street address along with the city and state of the event. Then add any other information that will make it easier for others to find you.
3 - You MUST enter both a start and end Day and Time or your event will not show up.
4 - You must enter the Zip Code. Use the zip code for where the event is - not where you are, (unless they are the same). Add additional information in the "Address and Directions" box. It really helps to include a full street address with city and state. What is obvious to you, may not be to someone else.
5 - On your profile's events page, you may have to scroll down under any maps that display to find the event listing. If you have entered it correctly, it is there. There should also be a text link to modify (edit/correct) your event there.
If you are already logged into your Profile Page, some fields will automatically be completed for you on this and many other Peace Alliance forms. If you have a problem, you can email tech support and we will try to help. Be sure to provide your event name, your email address and a phone number.

Please make this event not searchable, so it will not show up in any public listings.
After saving, you will be able to view your event and email your friends about it.
