A laggard bejewels the stars
In just a few days, Hollywood’s celebrities will gather in L.A. for the Oscars. Many of the red-carpet stars will be outfitted in Harry Winston jewelry. Past Winston-wearers include Halle Berry, Angelina Jolie, Susan Sarandon, Renee Zellweger and Queen Latifah.
Stars don’t shine wearing "dirty" gold
Unfortunately, the jeweler to the stars has yet to commit to sourcing its gold and precious metals from cleaner sources. Already, 28 major jewelers, including Tiffany & Co., Cartier, and Piaget, have signed on to the Golden Rules criteria for more responsible metals sourcing. So why is Harry Winston lagging behind?
