Last month, the Obama Administration came out in favor of barring new mining claims in 1 million acres of national forest around the Grand Canyon.

Last week, Congress attempted to strip the Obama administration's authority to move forward with this withdrawal -- sacrificing one of our nation's greatest treasures for more destructive uranium mining.

The House of Representatives could vote on this issue as soon as this weekend, and we need your help to send a message to Congress that they must stand behind President Obama and protect the Grand Canyon.
