No More Dirty Power Plants
Let Dominion know that it is time for the to invest in smart energy!Dominion plans to build more dirty coal plants. Currently they have plans for a power plant in Wise County, Virginia. Power plants such as these contribute to hastening global warming around the world and also lead to increased mountain top removal mining (mining that literally blows up mountains) in Virginia, and the rest of Appalachia. It is time for Dominion to start working on smart energy solutions, instead of continuing to push for more unsustainable and dirty coal plants. Dominion needs to start investing in things like energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable energy. Dominion can work towards energy solutions that will allow for the protection of the health and safety of the environment and people, instead of ones that threaten the health and safety of those very things.
