MOTO BANNER

Boycott Resources

In 2005, on the one year anniversary of the International Court of Justice's ruling that Israel's "separation barrier" was illegal, over 100 Palestinian civil society groups issues a call for the international community to boycott, divest from, and sanction corporations and countries that support the Israeli occupation.  Click here to read this call to action.  The US Campaign to End the Israeli Occupation has answered this call by Hanging Up On Motorola.

Boycotts have been a successful tactic in ending corporate support for human rights abuses in the past - in fact Motorola stopped doing business with the Myanmar government after a boycott and corporate engagement campaign   Join us in boycotting this recognizable consumer brand until they stop supporting occupation in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem.

Divestment has also been used successfully in past struggles for human rights, notably in South Africa.  If you are part of a faith community, university, or pension plan, you may be profiting from Motorola's compliance in the Israeli occupation.  Use the following resources to leverage your investment with shareholder activism and/or divestment.
