VIDEO SPOTLIGHT:  How U.S. Students are Making History on the Hill
WITNESS has partnered with STAND to help its 850 high school and university chapters integrate video to support Pledge2Protect, a campaign focused on passing comprehensive genocide prevention legislation through Congress. With Pledge On Camera, hundreds of students are creating personalized videos for each U.S. Senator, which they will deliver in person on November 9th as part of the largest lobby day in genocide prevention history. Delhi Waste Pickers Subject of New Film
Join WITNESS on November 14 for the U.S. premiere of Counterbalance. The video documents the arduous work of waste pickers and the policies that impact their livelihoods, co–produced by WITNESS and Chintan.
Elder Justice Now
New Video: Victims of Elder Abuse Speak Out
WITNESS and the National Council on Aging (NCOA) have co–produced An Age for Justice: Elder Abuse in America. The film was screened before members of Congress on October 19. Urge your elected representatives to pass the Elder Justice Act.
