THE HUB: Shining a Spotlight on America's Silent Crisis: Elder Abuse
An estimated 5 million seniors in the U.S. are victims of elder abuse each year. To address this crisis, WITNESS and the National Council on Aging are using video to help pass the Elder Justice Act (EJA), holistic legislation that will help ensure citizens age with personal security and dignity. Join us today, World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, to break the silence and pass the EJA.

In Focus

	Partnership in Action: Safety and Security for Sex Workers WITNESS partner Marija Tosheva, Program Director of HOPS, will be in New York for a six week edit of a video on the rights of sex workers in the FYR Macedonia. Learn more about the video and an opportunity to talk directly with Marija.

	New film explores reconciliation in post-genocide Rwanda WITNESS is pleased to co-present "My Neighbor, My Killer," directed by Anne Aghion, at the 20th Human Rights Watch International Film Festival in New York.

Securing Women's Rights in Yemen
WITNESS partner Sisters Arab Forum (SAF) is now editing their video on discrimination of Akhdam women in Yemen. The video, debuting July 16th, aims to pressure the Yemeni parliament to enact a law protecting the rights of these women.
