Support Health Freedom in New Jersey and Elsewhere

New Jersey has become the first state in the US to require annual flu vaccination for babies, toddlers and pre-school children as well as adding new vaccines to the already highly dangerous vaccine overload it currently requires. The CDC is already following suit to make this dangerous precedent the rule for every child in the US. Current vaccine schedules, according to Barbara Flynn of New Jersey, require 74 vaccination for a fully vaccinated child!

Please send a letter which supports legislation currently in the NJ State Legislature which, if passed, will allow for a conscientious belief exemption in cases of mandatory vaccine administration. At the same time, your letter will go to your legislators as well.

Additional vaccine mandates are scheduled to go into effect in New Jersey in September, 2008, and will require that children as young as six months of age be given vaccines that in some cases contain neurotoxins such as mercury, as well as other heavy metals.

The legislation is, from the Natural Solutions Foundation's point of view, far from perfect because while it will allow parents to claim a conscientious belief exemption to such mandates, it still permits the NJ Commissioner of Health to keep non-vaccinated children out of school and/or daycare in cases of a public health outbreak of the illness associated with the vaccine. Despite that shortcoming, the principle of a philosophical exemption is so critically important, that we urge you to sign the letter below and send it to the Governor or New Jersey and, if you are a New Jersey resident, to your State Legislators. Your letter will also go to your State Legislators and Congress men and women telling them that your health decisions are yours to make, not theirs.

Dear Legislator:

New Jersey has become the first state to require annual flu vaccination for babies and children despite the fact that these vaccinations may violate the philosophical, medical and personal beliefs and needs of children and their parents.  The CDC has begun agitating for the same schedule of dangerous exposure for children in the rest of the US.

The vaccines may contain mercury and other dangerous substances and may pose significant health threats to the children, as well.  Therefore, we urge the State Legislature, with the support of the Governor, to protect the rights of parents to determine the best health course for their children and urge the passage of A260/S1071, legislation that will provide a conscientious belief exemption to mandatory vaccination.  We also urge you, as a legislator and decision maker, to provide for exemptions on the basis of a parent's philosophical beliefs that this is not something that they want their child exposed to.  Further, we urge you to make the same philosophical exemptions available concerning all vaccinations for anyone in the US.

Thank you for your strong support of the rights of parents to exercise their parental rights and discretion in the best interests of their children and their liberties.
