Support the L & M Street Cycletracks

I am writing to express my strong support for the prioritization and speedy completion of the L & M Street cycletracks. DDOT should not be allowed to backtrack on its commitment to this project and to cyclists, and Mayor Gray should not allow such backtracking to undermine his stated commitment to make the District a Platinum-level city for bicycling. Cycletracks like these improve safety for cyclists, and such improvements are needed in this congested downtown area where east-west pathways suitable for novice cyclists are limited. Little visible progress has been made in improving bicycle infrastructure in the District during the past six months. Please ensure that the L & M Street cycletracks are completed in a timely manner, and that progress is made to make the District safer for cyclists. Thank you,
