552 November 20, 2009 Caryl Lloyd , GA, US Send no more forces to Afganistan. Let us use the more suasive power of aid: food, medical supplies.
551 November 20, 2009 Judy Collins , AL, US And in our own country the astronomical amounts spent on war should be immediately redirected toward our own healing---of the environment where King Coal must be unseated and replaced by safe solar. Greening the economy will create desperately needed jobs. Redirect funds to education of our people, to health care, to education--building the WELL fare of our country instead of further preparation for and administration of wars, destroying our own sons and daughters as well as those of the Afghans and Iraqis , also Palestinians, and Israelis and all others killed through our funding of weapons and military forces.
550 November 19, 2009 mike hunt , AP, US These code pink people are traitors that should be investigated, tried, and imprisoned at the least.
they are breaking the LAW by going to foriegn countries and consorting with the enemies of the U.S.

545 November 02, 2009 Anonymous , CA, US What do women of the world have to do to have their voices rise above the profiteering warmongers wo are sacrificing lives to fund an unsustainable war-driven society? Albert Einstein is quoted as having said that repeating the same process over and over again and expecting a different outcome each time is insanity. Military force has not succeeded in doing more than destroy human lives-- American and Afghani. When does this insantity end and responsible government begin?

539 October 21, 2009 Doris Rowe , NY, US I voted for you Mr. President to STOP the WAR in Afghanistan. Why are you holding back on your promises? None of my business? As a woman, I speak for other women who find more troops repugnant. Send 40,000 women to talk their way through this mess. Something is not working there. More troops will not do it. More talks. More posters. Mail flown in from planes advertising the freedom and lives of women (with children, mind you) in Afghanistan to be freed of the fear of being killed by more bombing. Send 40,000 women .. it'll knock their socks off. The Woman Brigade! Think about it, Michelle!

535 October 20, 2009 Richard Van Aken , PA, US Listen to the people they know what they need it's their country. Stop the needless deaths of civilians and focus on improving the lives of the people. We and the people of Afghanistan will benefit immensely from a change to our approach.
534 October 20, 2009 Brianna Rigg , CA, US Perhaps we should spend our dollars on infrastructure and education in Afghanistan, rather than on increased troops. Who are we really trying to help?
533 October 20, 2009 Sheila Michaels , MO, US Sending more troops, sending people trained to kill, misuses the tax money I pay for a government of the people, here & abroad.
