Don't forget to build relations in every country. Build schools and be sure people have clean water. Show goodness and integrity so the people of each country will want to work with us. Work with the leaders who care about the people.

I have lost confidence in and pride for my country, the USA. Our people are poorly education, I did not say uneducated, and the fundamentalist Christians have been given the idea by our former President Bush that they are right in their narrow minded and rigid ideas. It is ludicrous that Bush and his circle of powerful warriors got away with making him look like a fundamentalist preacher, with implimenting their plans for the war with Iraq and with calling anyone they didn't like a "terroist" including Saddem Hussein who was a dictator, and not being called on the carpet for any of it.
Now we have a Congress that represents the confusing results of this terrible mess that our country is now it. Even if Mr Obama wants to put things in order and clean up the mess, there is no help for him, only adversarial good ole boys. Then there are the other battles besides war and potential bankrupty as the Social Security money was robbed from our workers and an expensive health care bill that doesn't really help people is being pushed through.
I doubt that women will be heard, but until they are, doubt that things will get any better.

And in our own country the astronomical amounts spent on war should be immediately redirected toward our own healing---of the environment where King Coal must be unseated and replaced by safe solar. Greening the economy will create desperately needed jobs. Redirect funds to education of our people, to health care, to education--building the WELL fare of our country instead of further preparation for and administration of wars, destroying our own sons and daughters as well as those of the Afghans and Iraqis , also Palestinians, and Israelis and all others killed through our funding of weapons and military forces.

What do women of the world have to do to have their voices rise above the profiteering warmongers wo are sacrificing lives to fund an unsustainable war-driven society? Albert Einstein is quoted as having said that repeating the same process over and over again and expecting a different outcome each time is insanity. Military force has not succeeded in doing more than destroy human lives-- American and Afghani. When does this insantity end and responsible government begin?
