I have hope in the fact that the man who has my heart and his battalion will not have to suffer the same fate as so many of their brothers in arms. That the lives that have been lost in the last eight years have not been in vain! I would feel safer knowing that women, children and families in the Middle East are safe, as well. That they are given the same respect as I am. Trying to blow up a threat there does not stop it here. It does not stop it anywhere when we are afraid. War is not the answer and it never was.

The love of my life is going to be deployed to Afghanistan. I don't know what I'll do if I lose him. We deserve a chance to get old together.
Thank you

Count against your policies a West Point graduate, a woman, a mother with a son in the Army, a human being who sees the continued self-destruction on our planet due to fear and greed. I don't have fancy rhetoric. I know what happens in the sallyports of West Point. There is no honor in perpetuating war.

There is no winning strategy. There is no road to peace through violence. There is no hope in war.

Please reconsider your plan for Afghanistan. Our soldiers need to come home, the home place is in need of help, we must see that our own people are more important than war lords. Mr. Obama, show us what you are truly made of.

I know that the shadow government Ike warned us about and Kennedy lost his life and developing policies to now have Obama and the country hostage.
This peoples' surge demands a an end to the insideous oil empire's war economy and deception. "There is no way to peace, peace is the way."

I wear a button everywhere I go. It is black with a silver peace symbol. It says "WAR IS TERRORISM TOO."
Enough! We must withdraw from Afghanistan, not escalate this dumb war.
