OBAMA: Condemn Israeli commando assault on Gaza Freedom Flotilla

On May 31, Israeli soldiers raided a boat in international waters carrying humanitarian supplies to Gaza, killing at least nine peace activists.

Along with leaders from several countries, a group of Nobel Peace prize winners put out a statement condemning the attack. Conspicuously absent from the Nobel Peace prize signees was President Barack Obama. Instead of expressing outrage at an attack on civilian ships in international waters, Obama issued a tepid statement saying he "deeply regrets the loss of life and injuries sustained."

The reaction of the Obama Administration to Israel's attack on the humanitarian aid flotilla, which included U.S. citizens, has been totally unacceptable. Coupled with the fact that the United State continues to provide military aid to Israel, it is time to call for an official condemnation of Israel, in addition to freezing all aid.

Please make israel notice you when you insist that they allow palestinians the rights that they themselves benefit from,basic health care ,adequate housing sanitation,schooling,safety,peace of mind and freedom to move around as they wish and to release the children that they have captured,tortured and abused.
The kennedys fought long and hard to give these rights to black people in fact two of the brothers namely,John and bobby gave their lives .Please make your outrage stick and let Israel know that you can make a difference by making a stand and that ,how does the song go? "we shall not be moved " .Palestines supporters are growing by the day and they will continue to do so ,please join them .
I am not from Israel (and am certainly not an anti semite that same card cannot be played to me and/or about me) or from Palestine i am an ordinary everyday english wowmen who holds no particular sway other than justice,fair play and equality of all people .I have very little money to speak of,hold no particular glory and have no wish to do so .i feel proud to hold my late mothers values who weaned me on the civil rights movement. i have no bias or predjudise and as i am human if i feel that i am in danger of becoming less humane than I know i should be well then i will quite simply do something about that. its called having a conscience I am shocked and appalled at not only the lack of humanity shown to the palestinians by the israelies but also how the EU and other goverments namely America and britains current leaders ignore and defend the Apartied in Palestine by pussyfooting around the Israelies.I am also shocked at how fickle people who are in a position to help are,how cavalier and how easy to blame the Palestinians when they attempt to defend themselves.
It is i feel particulary interesting that the question of freedom fighters has been given creedence in other parts of the world when it suits but when it dosnt suddenly people are unable to differentiaite between fighting for justice and terrorism.
