We think the time to act has arrived, and we hope you will join us in Washington, D.C. on Monday, March 2, in order to take part in a civil act of civil disobedience outside a coal-fired power plant near Capitol Hill.  Read a letter to colleagues from Bill McKibben, scholar in residence at Middlebury College, a director of Grist.org, and co-founder of 350.org, and Wendell Berry, farmer, critic, and prolific author. 12:30-1: Prayer Vigil.  Learn more>>
1:15 – 1:30pm: Rally at Spirit of Justice Park 
1:30 – 2:00pm:  March to the Power Plant
2:00 – 4:00pm or so: Speakers at the Powerplant

Attend one of the Non-Violence Trainings to learn about the specific plans and the legal issues for this action.  We will review essential nonviolence principles and tactics that guide this mobilization and will help you to be as prepared as possible for this historic day.  Learn more>>
