A collaborative initiative of a broad range of religious and faith-based groups and individuals are coming together for five consecutive days of activities in Washington, D.C on Earth Day and the week after, April 22-26, to bring attention to the climate crisis.
Among these, the Interfaith Moral Action on Climate is organizing an action on April 24th in Washington, DC. April 24 event begins with a sunrise vigil at the Martin Luther King, Jr. memorial, a multifaith service at NY Avenue Presbyterian Church, a religious procession down Pennsylvania Avenue to Capitol Hill and meetings with Obama Administration agencies and members of Congress.
