Yes, I’m going to get COLD for global warming!
In the past few years, the impacts of violent climate change have dramatically increased -- Arctic ice loss, sea level rise, hurricanes, wild fires and the rest. While climate change will hurt us all, it will hurt persons now living in poverty the most.

The Chesapeake Climate Action Network has educated thousands of local residents on how to reduce their “carbon footprint” and lead more sustainable lives, and they have lobbied to pass crucial energy and pollution legislation at the local and state level. Most importantly, though, they organize. Citizens must play a crucial role in winning this fight, and no one organizes citizens and students in our region better than CCAN.
