Want some exercise, the fun of working with others, and a good feeling from reducing waste here and helping others overseas?
Become a Bikes for the World VOLUNTEER-- check the "volunteer" box below and help us ship more bikes to projects benefiting poor working folks overseas. Volunteers can help at weekend collection events, help load shipments, do publicity work, or more. No prior bike experience required (although having some doesn't hurt!). Help us make new contacts--we are always looking to reach out to new sources of bikes, including multi-family buildings with bike rooms over-flowing with abandoned bikes and police impound lots.
Or do you simply want to keep up with our news, and distribute our collection schedule to your community? Be a Bikes for the World SUPPORTER.
Provide the information requested below and receive 12-15 emails yearly regarding Bikes for theWorld activities and accomplishments, including collection schedules, appeals for volunteers, alerts to press coverage, and an annual report. We do not use it for anything else and do not sell or give away your mailing or email address!
