Tell O’Malley: Save Millions - Switch to Opscan Voting
A new state-funded independent cost study shows that Maryland could save at least $9.5M over 8 years by switching to a new reliable paper-based voting system. Every year we delay, we waste millions while putting our elections at risk. Please tell Gov. O’Malley that in these tight budget times, we can’t afford NOT to switch. He must include the switch in his January FY 2012 budget proposal in order to implement the new system in time for the critical 2012 elections.
