Just as the Do Not Call Registry freed Americans from telemarketers, a Do Not Mail Registry would give us the choice to stop junk mailers from violating our privacy, wasting our time and damaging the environment.

118380 September 06, 2010 Norma Powell Kenmore, WA, US Ever since I purchased a condo, I have been so totally flooded with junk mail that I have grown weary of just trying to go through it all; in fact, important mail has accidentally gotten thrown away because of being buried amongst all the junk. There must be SOME way to stop these people from piling all this garbage on us.
118379 September 06, 2010 Robert Cunningham Fullerton, CA, US I think it is absolutely ridiculous that I open up my already small mail box and the entire thing is full of junk, only 1 or 2 letters being important then having to dispose of about 20 different things of junk. I have also been charged late fees on bills before because the bills would get lost in the mounds of junk.
