Tar Sands don't fit on BC's coast

Dear Prime Minister Harper,
BC's Spirit Bear, populating our north and central coast in the Great Bear Rainforest, could be threatened by supertankers carrying dirty Tar Sands oil.
Enbridge is proposing to build twin pipelines from Canada's Tar Sands across our rich salmon-bearing watersheds to Kitimat. A half million barrels of Tar Sands sludge would pass through the pipeline daily, and over 200 supertankers a year would ply BC coastal waters to Asia. One accident could destroy our coast for generations.
We urge you to keep our north coast oil-tanker free. Please expand the tanker moratorium to include related pipeline development and Tar Sands expansion.
