Mad about the Sustainable Forestry Initiative’s (SFI) greenscamming? We are, too. So we’re taking action by filing a claim with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), demanding they follow their own Green Guides and crack down on the SFI. Now it’s your turn.

Dear Federal Trade Commission:

We oppose forest destruction, landslides, and poisoning of communities with toxic chemicals, especially when they are certified as “green” by the timber industry’s greenwashing eco-label, the “Sustainable Forestry Initiative” (SFI). The SFI claims such practices are “good for you, good for forests.” The government’s job is to protect consumers from such deceptive and misleading claims. We demand the FTC take effective action against the Sustainable Forestry Initiative’s deceptive and misleading claims.
