Tell Canadian Officials Why We Shouldn't Gut the Fisheries Act

Otters in British ColumbiaForestEthics is blacking out its website today because our land, water and climate are all threatened by the latest federal “budget” -- Budget Implementation Bill (Bill C-38). It could be a death sentence for Canada’s wild salmon and coastal wildlife. It sells out Canada's pristine coastal waters to pave the way for Enbridge’s toxic Tar Sands pipeline and tanker project. This pipeline would cross hundreds of salmon-bearing rivers and bring tankers into the pristine coast of the Great Bear Rainforest.

PLEASE INCLUDE A COMMENT DESCRIBING WHY YOU WANT TO PROTECT OUR COASTAL WILDLIFE.

We must protect our coastal wildlife and fisheries, and strengthen, not weaken the Fisheries Act.
