Your Input is Needed on Wind Development

Wind Turbines

Have you been involved in a wind turbine development process, or have you been contacted by a developer? Are you currently hosting a wind turbine?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, your input will be valuable to other landowners involved in the same process. We want to make sure the entire wind development process is a more efficient, equitable experience for landowners, and that is why the Center for Rural Affairs is creating a wind development "Best Practices" toolkit.

We want to share this toolkit with developers in order to create better communication with landowners, and your experiences can help us create helpful guidelines for developers to consider when contacting landowners.

In your experience, what could the developer have done differently to make the experience work better for you? What recommendations do you have to help avoid future conflicts between developers and landowners?

In the box below (which will appear after you enter your zip code), you can make suggestions and comments. Your insights will be used to design a better process for landowners interested in being a part of wind development.

Thank you for your help!
