I urge you, the California Legislature, and the voters of California to tax corporations and the wealthiest 1% of Californians to pay their fair share and generate significant new revenues to fully fund our schools.
I urge you to make sure that any new education funds generated in California first go directly to the students with greatest needs––low-income and English Learner students- and the schools they attend.
