Grace Fellowship Church: Apologize for Anti-Gay BeatingLast week, leaders at Grace Fellowship Church in Fruitland, Tennessee assaulted Jerry Pittman Jr. and his boyfriend in the church parking lot -- just for trying to attend the service. We need to show the nation that people of faith won't silently accept anti-gay violence in our communities. Let's send a message to Grace Fellowship Church that their behavior is unacceptable.
To the leadership of Grace Fellowship Church,
Your actions against Jerry and Dustin are appalling and in no way faithful to the Christian Gospel. Such hate and violence are never acceptable. As people of faith, we call on you to apologize immediately. |
