We stand with the Catholic leaders challenging you to remember your Church's teaching on social justice during your commencement address at the Catholic University of America this weekend. Catholic teaching on budget priorities is clear. As the Catholic leaders state in their letter: It is your moral duty as a legislator to put the needs of the poor and most vulnerable foremost in your considerations. Please take the occasion of your honor at Catholic University to reconsider your stance and push for a budget that is fair for all people. |
