Our political process has gotten out of hand. For too long we’ve seen partisan pundits passing off ugly rumors as truth and hateful rhetoric cropping up at Tea Party rallies across the country.

It’s our job as citizens -- and as people of faith -- to stand up for our values, speak out against hate and make a positive contribution to healthier debates in our communities.
