Want a featured role in the forthcoming New Priorities Campaign video? Campaign media maven and crack videographer Joe Woodard seeks campaign supporters who would like to be interviewed for a short promotional video he will produce. Joe writes: The Campaign for New Priorities has observed that our nation is deep in an economic crisis that can only be addressed by adopting New Priorities to create a sustainable economy for the 21st Century. Organizers hope to spur demands by activist groups and local government to compel the Federal government to adopt New Priorities. The Campaign wants to create a ground swell of pressure that will reduce military spending and rebuild our society to meet human needs. A short video that explains, from personal points of view, what these changes could be and how they could affect us, can help motivate people to join the Campaign for New Priorities. The approach of the video is personal, a series of statements by initiators and by those who have joined the campaign - either as individuals or representatives of organizations - answering these questions: 'Why have you signed the Declaration of Principles for the Campaign for New Priorities?' and 'What do you hope to achieve?'" If anyone is interested in arranging a video interview to make a statement that answers these questions in a personal way, please contact 2050 Eagle Ave., Apt 3, Alameda, CA 94501 Email: jwoodard@jwoodard.best.vwh.net |

A New Year's Wish: End the wars. Closes the foreign bases. Bring all the troops and contractors home. Cut the Pentagon budget. Use those "war dollars" to fund social programs, create jobs, help our cities and states balance their budgets, meet other urgent human needs, protect the environment and create a sustainable peace economy.
Let's resolve
to make it happen
in 2011!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ONE AND ALL! |
