Caribou is fighting for his survival in Manitoba

Caribou is fighting for his survival and to protect his critical habitat. That’s why he's fighting against logging and human impact in Manitoba. With CPAWS Manitoba’s help, he's asking people to help him out by writing a letter to the Premier.

By saving the threatened woodland caribou’s remaining Boreal forest habitat across Canada, we’ll also help protect one of the world’s largest remaining carbon reserves, and slow the effects of climate change.

Help Caribou!

Write a letter to Premier Selinger, below.

Caribou (and CPAWS) are asking the Premier to...
  • announce a plan to protect more than half of Manitoba’s Boreal Region from industrial development, and
  • bring an immediate halt to logging in intact caribou habitat.

This will help protect caribou from extinction and help shield us from the impacts of climate change.

Write your personal letter below.
