President Obama and his advisors are now creating the first-ever comprehensive U.S. strategy to help see LRA atrocities ended, and its content will impact the future for hundreds of thousands of people.

Your voice can help make sure the President's strategy includes the major investment of new resources and leadership needed to achieve peace by signing the pledge below.

I pledge to read the strategy and to use my voice to keep President Obama accountable to his promise to “help bring an end to the brutality and destruction that have been a hallmark of the LRA across several countries for two decades, and to pursue a future of greater security and hope for the people of central Africa.”

It is certainly time that this war comes to an end, as it is very well within More....our capabilities as a country and member nation of the U.N. whose goal it is to establish peace and justice throughout the world.

6203 Fri Nov 26 18:06:53 EST 2010 gabriela rodriguez Grayson, GA President Obama I pledge to read your strategy to take action against the LRA because it is important that we as people and as a nation show that we care about others and not just ourselves. It's important More....that we don't sit by when we know that these atrocities are being commited and especially when it's been happening to innocent children. We all appreciate your concern towards them and hope that this plan can be brought into action soon. Thank you.

6199 Fri Nov 26 12:30:30 EST 2010 Tyler Fox Baton Rouge, LA Earlier this year, your Congress set politics aside and passed a bill that they saw as fulfilling their duty, not as Democrats or Republicans, but as human beings. You, Mr. President, signed this bill, More....obviously aware of that duty. Now, when the time has come to put your words into actions, has your sense of duty left you? Your duty to the needy in the world? Your duty to fulfill the promises you have made to the American people? The tens of thousands of Americans who care are counting on you to make the difference that only you can. The hundreds of thousands of hurting children in Uganda, CAR, and the Republic of Congo are counting on you for the aid that only you can bring.
Please, Mr. President, follow through.
Thank you.

6192 Thu Nov 25 23:24:49 EST 2010 Anonymous Burbank, CA Too many young lives have been lost. There is horrifying brutality in Uganda that has been allowed to continue for far too long. Young children are main targets, which is enough to initiate real action More....against the LRA. We must get involved.

6189 Thu Nov 25 22:06:34 EST 2010 Natasha Lubansky Kinnelon, NJ This is why I pledge to read your strategy - because for the children and families of Uganda, this is the light at the end of the tunnel. This is something that provides hope for them in such a dark, dark More....place. For years and years, these people have suffered atrocities that none of us have ever known to even exist in this world. They have lived in fear for their own lives and for the lives of their closest loved ones. This is not how someone should live. So I pledge to read your strategy to end this violence because I know that it will provide hope for these people. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this. If this is a success in the future, know that your effort is sincerely, sincerely appreciated by me, the thousands of Americans working to end this violence, and most importantly those living in fear in Uganda.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
