REMINDER: Dear Scenic Hudson Member, It's almost here -- join us down by the river in Beacon on Sunday, June 7, from 2 to 7 p.m. for waterfront fun for the whole family. We're celebrating Henry Hudson's historic voyage with music, dancing and boatloads of fun - all taking place on the very shores the Half Moon sailed past 400 years ago - as we await the arrival of the Quadricentennial flotilla. This great afternoon will feature live music by The Kids from Room 12, nopresha and The Big Takeover along with storytelling by River of Dreams children's book author Hudson Talbott. Also: free kayak and bike rentals, volleyball, hulahooping, community sculpting -- and some great food vendors! See this page for directions -- and to RSVP. Hope to see you there! |
