Attendance at Planning Board Meeting Sends a Message

Dear Scenic Hudson Member,

The City of Kingston Planning Board plans to vote tomorrow -- Thursday, Dec. 18, at 6 p.m. at City Hall -- to accept the Final Generic Environmental Impact Statement for Hudson Landing.

While the public will not be afforded an opportunity for comment on this project proposed by AVR Realty, a turnout of residents will communicate that the public is watching the city's plans for its waterfront. This will be meaningful in the final stages of permitting the AVR project as well as the public review process that is underway for Sailor's Cove, another large residential project proposed for property adjacent to Hudson Landing.
