Dear Scenic Hudson Member,
I just wanted to remind you one more time about tonight's Hudson Landing Presentation and Public Hearing at Kingston High School.
AVR's massive proposed Hudson Landing development is in its final stages of public review. Over the last several years, supporters, partners and affiliates of the Friends of Kingston Waterfront have worked with the city planning board to get AVR to significantly modify the project, minimizing potential negative impacts while enhancing public access, preserving ecologically sensitive areas and creating a better, more sustainable design. Still, this proposal remains massive in size and scale, calling for nearly 1,700 housing units. It's critical to attend this meeting - Hudson Landing will dictate the future of Kingston's growth and character for decades to come.
The hearing starts at 6 p.m. in the Kingston High School auditorium at 403 Broadway in Kingston.
