If you're looking for something to do this weekend that's both fun and educational, come to one of Scenic Hudson's "Day at the Foundry" tours at the West Point Foundry Preserve in Cold Spring. In addition to meeting the archeologists who have been excavating this historic site, you'll see demonstrations of traditional metal casting techniques.
