The Hudson Valley has never looked better -- and now you can enjoy it from the comfort of your computer.

Last month Scenic Hudson launched our first-ever digital Photo Competition. The response has been overwhelming. So far we've received more than 1100 stunning images from members just like you.

To check out the photos, visit this Web page and click on one of six galleries displaying everything from breathtaking panoramas of Scenic Hudson parks and the Hudson River to intimate shots of the valley's wildlife. And don't forget to vote for your favorite photos!

As an added incentive, all entrants and their families will be invited to our River Champion Event on Saturday, June 7, at our Foundry Dock Park in Cold Spring. This year's celebration will feature two parts:.

• Photo Workshops: 4 to 6 p.m.
  Professional photographers Joseph Squillante and Robert Rodriguez, Jr. will offer tips on taking perfect landscape shots.
• Family Movie: 8 to 10 p.m.
  We are excited to show our first movie at a Scenic Hudson park -- Evan Almighty.

Remember, you must enter our photo contest to receive your invitation to these free events. So enter the contest, then make plans to join us with your camera and blankets or chairs. We'll provide drinks, snacks and popcorn -- and guarantee a good time.

There's still plenty of time to submit your own photos or inspire others to participate -- the deadline is June 30 -- and perhaps win a prize.
