Get to Know More about Scenic Hudson in Esopus
Dear Scenic Hudson Member,
Scenic Hudson community planners and park development professionals will make a presentation to local officials and residents of the Town of Esopus.
Free Meeting
Wednesday, Sept. 19, at 7 p.m.
Town of Esopus Library
Canal Street, Port Ewen
The talk is sponsored by the Town of Esopus Waterfront and Environmental boards as part of their efforts to inform and involve town residents in issues pertaining to the Hudson River, their community and the environment.
Town residents are invited to attend this event and learn more about Scenic Hudson's parks and the environmental treasures that make the town a unique and special place to live. Scenic Hudson staff also will share their Principles for Sound Waterfront Development -- a tool that local officials can use to shape positive growth and ensure both economic progress and environmental protection.
Scenic Hudson has developed four parks in the Town of Esopus, including Black Creek Forest Preserve, which is used for field trips by local elementary school students, and Shaupeneak Ridge, a popular destination for sportsmen and women.

Sincerely,

Ned Sullivan
President
