Our country faces unprecedented challenges. In November, unemployment reached the highest level in 14 years. America is still addicted to oil. The global warming crisis goes unabated.

With this election, Americans signaled we are ready to find new, lasting solutions to our energy, economy and global warming challenges.

Now is the time to Repower, Refuel and Rebuild America. By investing in clean energy, we can cut our dependence on oil, get clean electricity and reduce Global Warming pollution.

These investments will create millions of good-paying jobs in the hardest-hit construction and manufacturing sectors and create pathways out of poverty for the most affected communities.

Tell leaders in Washington to invest in clean energy–like wind and solar–to get America moving forward and put Americans back to work. Urge them to Repower, Refuel and Rebuild America.
Our goals are to:

• Cut our dependence on oil in half;
• Move to 100% electricity from clean sources such as wind and solar;
• Create 5 million new clean energy jobs;
• Reduce Global Warming pollution by at least 80%.

This means:

• Improving vehicle efficiency by investing in cars that use electricity instead of oil; and investing in a 21st century transportation system;
• Producing energy from clean sources, like wind and solar; and increasing energy efficiency in homes and other buildings;
• Investing in new clean energy industries; developing new energy-saving technologies; and training workers for "green collar" jobs;
• Setting firm limits on Global Warming pollution and rewarding companies for real reductions.
