Ask U.S. Representative Cory Gardner To Protect America's Air And Public Health!

PHOTO: Powerplant with smokestacks America's Clean Air Act has been protecting the public's health since 1970 by reducing pollution and clearing the air. Unfortunately, leaders in the newly elected U.S. House of Representatives have stated that they intend to undermine the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) ability to enforce the Clean Air Act.

Recently, a resolution was introduced into the House "disapproving" of the EPA for trying to control hazardous air pollutants emitted from cement plants. The resolution is House Joint Resolution 9 (H.J.R. 9) (pdf).
