Balance needed.

The Sequester is here and what did Congress do? Nothing.  Leadership in Congress is refusing to entertain any new revenue - they want to solve this through cuts. We need our political leaders to work together to fix our fiscal mess and roll back these massive, across-the-board cuts. The effects of the sequester will be devastating - massive cuts to vital programs that protect our environment, health, and communities. Programs that protect our drinking water could be cut, funds for fixing leaking sewage systems or improving drinking water treatment could be slashed, and national parks could be closed.

We can't cut our way out of this - the solution must be balanced, it must include new revenue. That is the only way to revitalize our economy, protect our environment and health, and keep our communities strong.

Send a message to your Representative and Senators today. Tell them that a cutsonly answer is not an option - and make sure they know that we expect a balanced approach!
