Take Action to Protect Orange County Medical Marijuana Patients!

Attention Orange County Medical Marijuana Supporters!

At their July 17 meeting, the Orange County Board of Supervisors will be voting on whether or not to move forward with implementation of the statewide medical marijuana ID card program. Participation in the program is entirely voluntary for patients and their caregivers; however the county is required, by law, to make the program available.

Law enforcement officials in Orange County have a very poor track record when it comes to respecting California’s medical marijuana laws. This is why it is imperative that the ID card program be implemented without further delay.

If the program is implemented, Orange County patients and caregivers will be able to obtain the ID cards through a confidential program administered by the Department of Public Health. The program works to protect cardholders from unnecessary arrest, detainment or the seizure of medicine by state and local law enforcement.

Please take a few minutes to personalize the message below and send it to the Board of Supervisors today!*

Thank you for taking action to protect Orange County’s medical cannabis patients. With your support, implementation of our state’s compassionate medical marijuana laws will be a reality in Orange County.

Please take action ONLY if you are an Orange County resident. If you do not live in Orange County, you can help protect OC patients by sending a link to this page to friends, family, and co-workers in the county.
