Kill the wolf kill bill

Like all native wildlife, wolves have a right to survive in Oregon.

The Oregon Cattlemen's Association wants to kill wolves and the law won't let them. Now they want to change the law.

Fighting out-of-touch wolf kill bills has become an annual event in Salem. This time anti-wildlife interests have outdone themselves. They want the state to pass legislation declaring a state of emergency that allows them to go back to the bad old days of killing wolves, and undermine basic protections for all wildlife.

Oregon is home to over 1.3 million cows and 29 wolves.

Time and again Oregonians have spoken out in favor of wolf and wildlife conservation, but we need to do it again. Tell your state representatives that Oregon has real emergencies. We don't need to waste our time fighting over killing endangered wolves.

It’s most important that you take action, but messages have added weight if you use your own words.  Why do you care about wolves?  Why do you think we should protect wildlife?
