Take the 2008 MAU Pledge

There is much talk about security, but little said about addressing issues that pose the greatest threat to the world’s children. Poverty: Every other child in the world lives in poverty. Environmental degradation: We are using 1/3 more resources than the earth can replenish. War: Nearly half of all war casualties are children and billions of dollars of our children’s future are being spent funding obsolete weapons and failed attack plans.

It’s time to talk about what brings true security to our global family and discuss new strategies.

YES! Sign the pledge and tell 5 friends to join you in carrying the torch!

June, July, August: Field trips to Congressional and Presidential candidates (with questions and the Mother Agenda firmly, and proudly, in hand)
September, October, November: The Fall Festival of Citizen Action – from registering all to vote, to educating ourselves & our communities about issues impacting the world’s children
December: Communicating with the new U.S. President and Congressional Members
